Reports
Understand what appears in generated PDF reports, how analysis precision is represented, and the liability framing applied to all Integraph output.
Overview
Integraph generates PDF design reports that summarise the section geometry, material properties, load combinations, and analysis results for a saved design option. Reports are generated on demand from the Reports panel and reflect the inputs and results stored on the server at the time of generation — not any cached or locally-displayed result.
Accuracy of results
Analysis results in Integraph reports reflect the calculation methods implemented in the platform at the time the report is generated. These methods are based on published design standards (AS 3600, ACI 318, EN 1992-1-1/1-2, AS/NZS 4600, AISI S100, EN 1993-1-3) and are subject to the limitations described in those standards and in the platform’s Limitations pages.
Precision statements in reports do not imply numerical exactness beyond what the underlying method warrants. Quantities such as crack width, creep coefficient, and fire-reduced capacity depend on empirical models whose inherent scatter is documented in the relevant standards and is substantially larger than the displayed decimal precision. Numerical precision in output is a formatting choice, not a claim about model accuracy.
:::caution[Accuracy claims corrected — August 2026 (#4898)] Before this release, some generated reports and UI surfaces overstated the precision of analysis results. These statements have been corrected and calibrated to accurately reflect the precision the underlying methods provide. If you generated reports before August 2026, consider regenerating them to ensure the disclaimer language matches the current, corrected text. :::
Liability disclaimer
Integraph is a software tool for structural analysis and does not constitute professional engineering advice. All analysis results must be reviewed and verified by a suitably qualified and registered structural engineer before being used for any design, construction, or certification purpose.
The engineer of record is responsible for:
- Verifying that the section geometry, materials, and load combinations correctly represent the structure being designed
- Confirming that the design standard selected in Integraph applies to the project jurisdiction and member type
- Interpreting results in the context of the overall structural system, including load paths, connections, and construction tolerances not modelled at the cross-section level
- Complying with all applicable codes, standards, regulations, and conditions of development consent
Integraph and Integraph AEC Pty Ltd make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of results for any particular purpose. Use of the platform is subject to the Terms of Service agreed at account creation.
Every page of every generated report carries a one-line restatement of this position in its footer: “Design aid output — not a certified design. Independent check by a qualified engineer required before use.” It is not removable, and it is deliberately on every page rather than only the first, so a reader holding a single extracted sheet still sees it. The longer liability panel that used to open page 1 of each report was removed in September 2026 — the position it stated is unchanged and is set out in full in the Terms of Service you accept at account creation.
What a report contains
A generated PDF report includes:
| Section | Contents |
|---|---|
| Cover | Project name, design option name, engineer name (if set), date generated |
| Section geometry | Outline and void coordinates, arc data for curved boundaries, section properties (gross, transformed, cracked) |
| Materials | Name, grade, elastic modulus, Poisson’s ratio — values from the frozen material snapshot, not the live catalogue |
| Reinforcement / tendons | Bar positions, diameters, cover, tendon positions, strand type, effective prestress |
| Load combinations | All active combinations by limit state, including generated minimum-moment rows |
| Analysis results | Per-combination results for each check type that was run: ULS capacity, interaction, shear, SLS stress, crack width, deflection, PT losses and stresses |
| Governing checks | Design Summary — governing combination per check, overall ADEQUATE / INADEQUATE verdict |
| Warnings & assumptions | Any input the analysis estimated on your behalf, and any analysis that could not be completed — amber panel, page 1 |
| Disclaimers | The one-line design-aid qualification, in the footer of every page |
Reports do not include intermediate calculation steps, sub-clause citations, or derivations. The platform’s documentation pages (linked from the report header) describe the method used for each check.
Generating a report
Open the Reports panel from the right-side panel group and select Generate PDF. Report generation is synchronous — the panel shows a progress indicator and opens the completed PDF when the server finishes. Reports are not stored server-side; regenerate from the same saved design option at any time.
